Branding and Promotional Designer
The 2025 Beyond the Status Quo Summit invited 500 attendees from across the human services sector of Edmonton to consider what the city would look like in an ideal future of systems change.
I had the privilege of creating the logo, branding, and promotional materials for the event.


The Brand
The event called for a bright, breezy aesthetic to highlight the inspirational intention. I chose the light, ever-professional blues with contrasting orange as a highlight to represent change, motivation, and innovation.
The dots in the aesthetic helped create a shape language that was at once airy and passionate.

The Invite
The poster for the event was packed with basic information about the event. I used a two-column approach to keep it organized and aesthetically pleasing.
The Social Media
A strong social media campaign with plenty of content was required to spread the word and keep attendees alighted of announcements.
Content needed to come in a variety of sizes to accommodate multiple social media platforms.
